Decide Inside

The Decide Inside Book & DVD Pack is a full program kit that includes 100 copies of the special edition Book of Hope and a DVD with a series of short films that can be shared with juvenile offenders.

This special edition Book of Hope contains graphic novel artwork, Bible stories retold using contemporary vocabulary and written at an appropriate comprehension level. The book will engage participants in God’s Word, and allow your team of volunteers to relate Scripture to everyday life. The book also includes activities, encourages journaling and other creative channels.

The short films include testimonies from former offenders who made the decision to follow Christ and forever changed their destinies. These same young people share the salvation message along with related Scripture and stories from the Bible. The films provide a high level of authentic, credible evidence of the power of God and speak directly to the issues and needs these juvenile offenders face.

Elementary School Edition

Ages: 6-11
Grades: 2-5

In this colorful book, readers are introduced to five characters. Each character faces a challenge and finds a solution based on God’s Word. For instance, Jade is materialistic until she meets a girl who can’t even afford a pair of shoes. Jade’s friend, Brianna, tells her about Jesus and that people are more important than things. Other elementary school-aged characters in the book deal with issues such as worry and stress, bullying, and forgiveness.

This book includes the meta-narrative, and highlights the parables and teachings of Jesus. It includes the story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. This fun-filled, digest-sized book is packed with games, puzzles, and crafts with an emphasis on scripture memorization.

This digest-sized Book of Hope addresses issues relevant to teens. Some of the topics include worry and stress (over the economy, family struggles, academic success), the abundance of temptations in our media-rich culture, bullying, cutting, prescription drug abuse, and living with purpose.

In addition to fun activities like quizzes, there is a special pullout section called “All the Answers.” This comic book piece is designed for peer-to-peer evangelism.

Throughout the book, readers can engage with scripture. The story of Joseph is retold in modern terms that relates to God’s calling on our lives, betrayal, forgiveness and realizing that God has a special plan for our lives.

The story of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection is interwoven throughout the book. Specific tracts of scripture are carefully placed with contemporary articles that address the heart felt needs of teens and young adults. This is a small, but powerful book.
