OneHope launched the Spiritual State of the World’s Children (SSWC) research initiative to understand what children and youth deal with in their day-to-day realities. The needs of children vary from country to country and even regionally within countries. With culturally reliable research, OneHope is able to tailor and custom-make products and distribution programs to address the heart-felt needs of children and youth in each specific context. By the end of 2012, 62 SSWC projects will have been conducted in 49 nations.
SSWC includes both quantitative and qualitative research. The Attitudes and Behaviors of Youth (ABY) project, OneHope’s quantitative research study, examines the true daily life of teens and trends around the world. From 2007 – 2011, more than 152,000 13 –19-year-olds in 44 countries on 5 continents answered questions about their life. The Global Analysis revealed a global “teenage” norm that crosses cultural, regional and religious boundaries. Custom Discovery Research (CDR), OneHope’s qualitative research project, uses interviews and focus groups for more specialized information on a particular area, subject, or age group.
OneHope’s heart is to share the in-depth information we’ve discovered with churches and ministries who share our vision for effectively reaching the next generation with the biblical truth and hope for eternity through Country Reports.
