OneHope’s Product Development team designs products that engage children and youth around the world with Scripture. Within the PD team, the Creative Content Project Manager directs all aspects of the development process for new and modified ministry products, from conception through program validation. This includes facilitating design sessions and meetings, managing timelines and budgets, communicating frequently with workgroups, coordinating a team of contract writers, editors, graphic designers and developers and working closely with international team members. The Product Development team has primarily developed print products; however, intentional effort and planning are being made to develop more in the digital space. It is anticipated that this role will focus more on the development of digital ministry products and spend less time on print products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of OneHope and faithfully upholds OneHope ministry in prayer
  • Develops best practices for creating digital strategies, content, and branding
  • Develops best practices for working with developers
  • Works independently and with a team to coordinate the development of new products and programs (apps, websites, short films, books, magazines, curricula)
  • Facilitates design process, speaking into the components of new ministry programs and products
  • Facilitates design sessions
  • Leads workgroups and meetings
  • Manages project timelines and budgets
  • Provides direction to and oversees contractors including web/app developers, copywriters, translators, designers, illustrators, typesetters, editors, theologians, etc.
  • Reviews and edits content throughout the entire development process
  • Works with the Research department on primary and secondary demographic research as well as product and program validation and testing
  • Creates and presents presentations to share with both internal and external audiences.
  • Manages and maintains digital assets and archives as well as physical archives
  • Assists with administrative duties such as planning meetings, processing invoices, completing reports.
  • Works in partnership with other ministries to develop products and programs
  • Ministers to OneHope’s donor partners
  • Travel internationally to meet with field team members, lead design sessions and facilitate focus groups

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Background in digital development or marketing required

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Asana or other project management software
  • A quick learner of computer software
  • Prior use or ability to master the use of MAC iOS preferred
  • Proficiency with online tools (DropBox, Google Drive, Slack, Zoom, Cloud storage)
  • Highly organized and capable of setting deadlines and priorities
  • Self-directed and capable of creating processes for efficiency in workflow
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience in user experience design
  • Experience in coding and development
  • Experience and a portfolio with user interface design tools like Sketch, Figma or Experience Design
