Four years ago, OneHope French African country leaders launched an audacious plan called the Lumière Project setting out to plant 3,324 new churches across 10 French-speaking West African countries over the course of five years.
Using The GodMan film, God’s Big Story, and The Book of Hope to ignite evangelism efforts and build faith based communities the Lumière Project provides a unique opportunity to take hope to the next generation in one of the most strategic areas of the world.
Every child and family needs to encounter the transformative hope found in Christ. The goal of the Lumière Project is to accomplish just this – that every child and family in the conflict zone of the Sahel would discover the truth as a result of encountering His Word.

Bring Light to French-Speaking Africa
The Lumière Project provides an incredible opportunity to take hope to the next generation in one of the most strategic areas of the world. In the midst of great religious tension and persecution in French-speaking Africa, our partners continue to plant new churches and start kids clubs across the Sahel region. Children from Animism and Muslim families are experiencing the love of Jesus and discovering their purpose.
