Unstoppable 10/40 Window Matching Challenge
DOUBLES your gift to share God’s Word!

God’s Word is UNSTOPPABLE! No matter how remote or isolated — no matter how volatile or hostile to Christianity — there is no region that cannot be reached with the unstoppable power of the Word of God.

This is why we know that now is the time to make a bold move forward for Christ into one of the most unreached regions on earth: the 10/40 Window — the vast area between 10 degrees North latitude and 40 degrees North latitude that encompasses most of Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, and Russia.

For a limited time, every dollar donated to reach children and youth in this critical region of the world will be doubled by the $1,000,000 Unstoppable 10/40 Window Matching Challenge — this means every dollar you give — up to the $1,000,000 total — will reach SIX young people with the Good News.

They’re children like Myo, a boy in a majority Buddhist nation who attended a Bible Club for children and received the Book of Hope.

Today, Myo has chosen to give his life to Christ!

Thank you for sending God’s Word to transform Myo’s life! And remember: when you give again today, every single dollar will be doubled to reach six more children like him.

What is the 10/40 Window?
by President Rob Hoskins

It’s just imaginary lines on a global map … but the 10/40 Window also holds a key to my heart: I love it because it is home to most of the world’s Muslims, and I have a deep and abiding love for Muslim people —

Ever since our family lived and ministered among Muslims in Lebanon, my passion for the Muslim world has never waned.

I’m often asked to speak about ministry to Muslims, but I’ve found that when I have asked how many of my audience have ever prayed for Muslims, few — if any — ever admit they have.

I asked that question at a meeting of African Christians. A highly-placed denominational leader fell at my feet afterwards to express his deep gratitude — he confessed to me that the only prayer he had ever prayed for Muslims was, “God turn their guns on their own heads. Slay them.”

The Holy Spirit got hold of his heart that day. But tragically, his former attitude still prevails in many areas today.

But is that the way God sees Muslims? Is writing their destruction the only merciful thing He could do? If that were the case, we would all be dead, as we so richly deserve.

Instead of cursing Muslims, our hearts should be broken for them. Our prayer should be: “Merciful Jesus, reveal yourself to them!”

I believe the next generation of Islamic young people can become a generation of Christ-followers, and it’s my prayer that it continues even more as you and I reach into the 10/40 Window with God’s life-transforming Word together. Thanks for loving what God loves about the 10/40 Window!

Your love for Leandro —
multiplied in ministry!

When you support OneHope Scripture engagement programs, you’re sharing God’s Word with millions of children — what a blessing!

But you may not realize that many of these children commit their lives to Christ, and as they grow up, receive the call to ministry.

They’re young people like Leandro from Brazil. He went through a OneHope leadership training program that radically impacted his life:

“I was just 16 then, and being so young, I had a blurred vision of what I wanted to do with my life,” Leandro remembers.

But he soon had a clearer idea: God was calling him to spread the Good News — to reach others with the Gospel, just as he had been reached.

Today at age 23, he serves in a sensitive Asian nation, a majority Muslim former republic of the USSR, where he is training local workers in evangelism.

“I have had to learn from scratch, to mature a lot, but when I look at what God has done to me, I can say without a doubt that everything started in the leadership school.” He adds: “I want to thank you for the importance of your ministry in my life.”

Thank you for helping train Leandro for a life of leading others to Jesus!

padma

From the 10/40 Window
She learned to forgive — and love!

The divorce was bitter.

What made it even worse for Padma: everyone took sides. Padma stayed with her mother, of course, but her dear grandmother sided with papa as he abandoned the family. It broke Padma’s heart — and made her angry, too!

She vowed she never wanted to see her father or her grandmother again.

Although they live in a majority Muslim nation, Padma’s mother took her to a Christian church — hopeful that this would help them recover from the horrible disintegration of their family. There Padma began the Pathway to Hope training classes, which teach children how to share their faith.

What Padma discovered as she studied through this special-edition Book of Hope amazed her! It was sin in the world that caused pain like what Padma and her mother were going through. And Jesus Christ, the Savior, came to earth and experienced terrible pain at the hands of sinful people, who tortured and killed him …

Yet He offered love and forgiveness to them.

Padma chose to give her life to Christ … and she realized she must forgive her father and grandmother. The very next time she saw them, she shared Pathway to Hope with them and told them about the love and forgiveness of Jesus.

“At first they were angry, but when I told them the whole story, my grandmother began to cry,” Padma says. “After I was done, we hugged and forgave each other.”

Today Padma’s relationship with her father is growing stronger, and she is continuing to learn and grow in God. Thank you for sending the Good News to bring her hope!

hina

Children learn about Jesus for the very first time

They didn’t know about Jesus … their home nation is one of the most isolated and anti- Christian in the 10/40 Window.

So it was quite an event when a tiny local church had visitors from outside. Hina and some other children went to the church just to see what was happening …

It was a OneHope training session with believers from another town showing the Christians in Hina’s town how to use the Book of Hope to share the message of Jesus.

Hina and the other children listened carefully as the story of Jesus was told … and they were delighted to receive their own copies of the Book of Hope, even though they weren’t there for the training session …

“We immediately opened them and began reading,” Hina says. “We believed that Jesus is from God and can forgive our sins, so we accepted Christ and go to church every week since that day.”

She and 12 other children chose to follow Jesus! Thank you for sending God’s Word to give them hope.

Remember today — your gift to share God’s Word will go twice as far: every dollar will be doubled by the Unstoppable 10/40 Window Matching Challenge.

pablo

NICARAGUA

Pablo and his friends were excited to learn about the Super Book Club in their impoverished rural town of Nicaragua — kids like him rarely had any organized entertainments …

But then they discovered so much more at the club! Not only did they get to play games, sing songs, and hear stories: each child received his own super book: the Book of Hope that told them all about Jesus.

Pastor Malespin reports that every child who attended chose to follow Jesus! The children are all still attending church, and their parents are even coming together with them! By God’s grace, the Super Book Club program is making a powerful impact within the entire community … young and old alike!

luma

CAMEROON

This African nation is one of the places where young people misunderstand what leadership really is, because they’ve been exposed to leaders who display corruption and greed. But when 14-year-old Luma was going through our Lead Today program, she discovered that godly leaders are always servants … And she decided to model this by volunteering to clean floors at her church. She has a servant’s heart, and she’s learning to be a leader!

Kouame

IVORY COAST

Kouame is also going through the Lead Today program and has this to say to everyone who made it possible: “Thanks to God, and thank you to all those who are helping us by providing this course. Today, I’ve learned to express myself in front of my comrades.” This new confidence also allowed her to be chosen as safety monitor at her school. She is on her way to becoming a godly leader.

muha

VENEZUELA

Muha used to be very demanding of his mother’s time and attention … particularly because he always felt that she slighted him. But when he began studying the Book of Hope at church, things began changing! Today Muha is a great help to his mother and he has become respectful and affectionate rather than clingy and demanding. Knowing the love of Jesus has changed his outlook!

lavli

A brighter future — because of you!

She was going to fail her classes — she could just feel it. And the consequences of such a terrible outcome would be dire:

Lavli is growing up in an impoverished family in a majority Hindu nation where millions of girls don’t get to go to school at all. Her parents were day laborers who worked long hours just to feed the family. If she couldn’t stay in school, her future would be the same — a struggle for survival.

Lavli tried hard, but her folks couldn’t afford the proper school supplies or uniforms, and they certainly couldn’t help her with her homework.

As exam time came closer, Lavli felt panic and hopelessness. The gods and goddesses of her traditional religion offered no help at all.

But then you sent the Book of Hope to Lavli. She loved reading about Jesus and even began going to Sunday school on her own.

On the day of her exams, she prayed to Jesus for help. And she passed every test with flying colors!

Lavli was so happy that Jesus heard her prayers, she committed her life to Him! She has a bright future ahead of her because you sent God’s Word.

Thank you for helping Lavli discover her eternal source of hope and salvation! Remember you can reach more children like her as you support OneHope today, and, for a limited time, every gift will be doubled by the Unstoppable 10/40 Window Matching Challenge!
