A part of the Russian diaspora, Olya is a young Russian woman now living in a majority-Muslim region of Eurasia.

She is growing up surrounded by religious images and rituals. To her, Christianity always seemed distant — more about tradition than relationship. But she had deep questions: 

• Who is God really? 

• Why do Christians talk about the Trinity?

Because of your support, our online outreach found its way to Olya’s screen, and she reached out. One of our online missionaries patiently walked with her through Scripture, explaining how Christians understand God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

As their conversation unfolded, Olya’s hunger for truth grew. She asked about the Holy Spirit, about salvation, and what it really means to be a Christian.

Through this Gospel encounter, the message of John 3:16 came alive for her. She began to understand that the God she’d seen only from a distance wanted a personal relationship with her. 

Olya is still exploring — but she’s no longer searching alone. She has been introduced to the living Christ, and it’s changing everything.
