OneHope is a global ministry dedicated to providing every child and youth with the opportunity to know God’s story. Since 1987, OneHope has engaged over 2 billion children and youth in more than 150 countries through Scripture-based programs and digital resources in over 150 languages.
With a mission to affect destiny by providing God’s Word to all the children and youth of the world, OneHope partners with local churches and ministries to create culturally relevant, research-based programs that introduce young people to Scripture and help them grow in their faith.
OneHope was founded in 1987 by Bob Hoskins with a vision to reach every child and youth with God’s Word. What began as a ministry distributing printed Scripture booklets has grown into a comprehensive global movement utilizing both physical and digital resources to engage young people with the Bible.
Today, under the leadership of Rob Hoskins (Co-founder & President), OneHope reaches approximately 5 million children and youth every week through innovative programs that combine Scripture engagement with discipleship and leadership development.
OneHope’s approach is rooted in extensive research and proven methods. Every program is developed with careful attention to cultural context, developmental stages, and the specific needs of children and youth in different regions. This research-driven methodology ensures maximum impact and meaningful engagement with God’s Word.
Through partnerships with thousands of churches and ministries globally, OneHope provides Scripture-based resources in multiple formats—from printed materials to mobile apps and digital platforms—ensuring every child and youth can access God’s Word in ways that resonate with their culture and context.
Since 1987, OneHope has reached more than 2 billion children and youth worldwide with God’s Word.
By 2033, OneHope aims to: Engage 2 billion more young people with Scripture • Equip the local Church to disciple 20 million youth biblically • Develop 100,000 leaders to carry the mission forward
Founded in 1987, OneHope's first distribution was in El Salvador with a printed Book of Hope—the story of Jesus in a magazine-style format.
OneHope has reached more than 2 billion children and youth with God's Word since 1987, and that is just the beginning.
Every week, over 3 million children and youth worldwide encounter the life-changing message of Jesus.
OneHope programs are currently available in 148 languages, and every year the language offering is expanded so that every child and youth can access God's Word in their heart language.
OneHope is active in over 160 countries, but through digital ministry, their reach knows no borders—ensuring that no child or youth is beyond the Gospel. Whether in the hardest-to-reach places or the digital spaces they navigate daily, technology is breaking barriers and bringing God's Word to every corner of the world.
Vision 2033 is OneHope's strategic plan to catalyze a movement that engages every child and youth in every generation with Jesus through His Word.
