Not long ago, when we talked about missions, we imagined crossing oceans, navigating borders, and traveling to villages tucked away in places few had ever heard of.
That calling hasn’t changed, but the mission field has.
Today, some of the world’s greatest opportunities to reach the next generation are found on the screens where children and youth from every region spend hours each day asking life’s deepest questions, searching for belonging, and trying to discover who they are.
The digital world is already shaping a generation. The question is: Who will help shape it for Christ?
That’s why digital outreach has become such an important part of OneHope’s focus. Not because technology is the answer, but because God’s Word is. Technology simply allows us to carry the unchanging message of the Gospel into places we may never physically go.
What encourages me most is that these digital interactions are often the beginning of a journey. Through our online missionaries around the world, we’ve watched young people move from curiosity to conversation, from conversation to community, and from community to lives transformed by Jesus. Time and again, we’ve seen a simple click become the first step toward discipleship.
