OneHope creates innovative Scripture engagement programs for the next generation. Using research findings, each program is contextualized in order to reach children and youth with the Word of God in the most relevant and engaging way.
We have developed the Book of Hope in more than 144 languages, with a variety of specially-targeted editions for different age groups, cultures, and circumstances. The Book of Hope is a Scripture book designed to engage and speak to the heartfelt needs of children and youth within various cultures, clearly showing God’s redemptive plan through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. The Gospel is broken down into pieces and messages children and youth can understand.
We partnered with leadership expert John C. Maxwell and his organization, EQUIP, to create Lead Today. This program shares leadership skills through biblical lessons, all pointing the young people to model their lives after Jesus Christ.
In partnership with Joyce Meyer Ministries, this special edition Book of Hope leverages Joyce Meyer’s content and testimony for young girls, ages 10-14 years old. After completing this program, adolescent girls will grow in their trust of God’s Word and gain the confidence to speak His promises over their lives. They will gain renewed hope for the future as they come to understand their identity and value as daughters of God, the love Jesus has for them, and their place in His family.
World Without Sickness shares the message of salvation through God’s Word while teaching children practical health and hygiene skills. This program provides many open doors that would otherwise be nonexistent due to evangelism restrictions in many countries throughout Asia. It has reached 6,486,700 children and has been used in 15 countries. Ministry partners are given access to share the Gospel in schools when they are also providing much needed hygiene education.
Through community outreaches, children in Asia learn the story of Jesus during Christmas — the true reason to celebrate the season! Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism dominate many regions of Asia. Christmas provides an opportunity to tell children about Jesus, and the gift He is to the world. This program has reached over 55 million children in 30 countries. Churches facilitate Christmas parties where children play games, sing songs, hear the Gospel, and take home a scripture-filled Book of Hope.
God’s Big Story helps primary-age children learn Bible stories and uncover the underlying message of redemption and restoration, even if they can’t read or write. This fun program consists of a series of illustrated cards, along with a parent’s/teacher’s guide stocked with activities, lessons and memory verses. God’s Big Story has been used in 97 countries, and has seen great success in reaching 36,263,497 children while attracting them to return to church programming week after week as they complete their series of cards and learn the meta-narrative of Scripture in the process.
We partnered with The Christian Broadcasting Network to develop the Superbook program – using characters from a popular television series to teach children Biblical character traits and invite them to begin a life with Jesus.
Created in partnership with our friends at YouVersion, the Bible App for Kids is a fun, interactive library of Bible stories for young children, designed to help them fall in love with God’s Word. This resource is available for free in many languages.
As an in-app feature currently available in the YouVersion Bible App, the Kids Bible Experience provides preteens with engaging, practical insight into how they can apply God’s Word. Children’s ministry leaders and Christian influencers from around the world contribute top-notch content. Pre-teens enjoy fresh, relevant content daily. This new experience helps them build a habit of seeking God every day.
Many partners cannot evangelize to young people in limited access nations because of cultural restrictions. Youth may be curious about Christian beliefs, but outside of digital spaces, it would be very difficult for them to find a safe space to explore answers to those questions. What if it’s True? begins with an intriguing social media ad. When a participant chooses to engage with the content, it leads to a seven-day introductory journey through Scripture. What if it’s True? has reached over 9 million young people in over 160 countries. Throughout the engagement process, users have an opportunity to go deeper and ultimately connect with a local discipleship cohort or social media community manager who is equipped to answer questions and guide users on their personal journeys towards faith.
For children who cannot read and in areas where the printed Word cannot go, The GodMan film tells the story of Christ’s life for all to understand. The GodMan is a computer-animated film that has been translated into many languages and shown worldwide. Additionally, it has been customized for ten different cultural worldviews. More than 160 million children and youth have seen the film in hosted settings, and millions more have had the opportunity to watch The GodMan on television in their country. OneHope Youth Films bring the Gospel story to life on screen to appeal to younger generations who have grown up in the digital age. The films are part of OneHope programs that take place during outreaches, small groups, and in homes. This award-winning film points young people to Christ. En Tus Manos (In Your Hands) follows the struggle of a boy growing up in a violent neighborhood in Bogota, Colombia. In an attempt to get away from his abusive home life, he joins a gang. As part of his initiation into the gang, he is ordered to murder a local pastor. This cold-blooded task pushes him into the depths of despair as he searches for the courage to finally take his destiny into his own hands. The film is used in evangelism outreaches to spark conversation about following Christ.
The Lumière Project is a church planting initiative in Africa. Our team travels to villages where no Christian church is established. Using OneHope resources to share the Gospel message, the responding youth and adults become the first attendees of a new church plant! Children are also welcomed to join a kids Bible club. You can be a part of sharing God’s Word in these communities!
The Hosanna Plan is delivering God’s Word to unreached children and youth through strategic local church planting and evangelism initiatives. Outreach team members dedicate one year of their life to traveling to remote communities across the country. Children and youth learn the Gospel message through multiple OneHope programs that share God’s Word.
Cultivate Leadership Program is an internship designed to connect valuable skill sets to meaningful outcome-based projects, contributing to professional and spiritual development.
We want to see the teens in youth groups engage with Scripture in a meaningful way, and equip leaders with resources to effectively reach them. Feed includes resources, designed by and for the local church, to help teens grow in a relationship with Christ. Feed creates space for honest conversations around difficult truths in the Bible.
In partnership with RELEVANT magazine, Called is a podcast for church leaders featuring conversations with influential pastors, thinkers and leaders.
