The Jim and Kristi Byh Fund

Every person should have the opportunity to experience the Gospel. Many have yet to receive the Good News. You can share the hope of God’s Word through one gift that will make a perpetual impact!

This fund will honor the life and legacy of Jim and Kristi Byh and provide Scripture Engagement programs and church-planting efforts for unreached people.

Fund Goal: We’ve had such a generous response toward our original goal of $1 million dollars that we’re extending the goal to advance this Kingdom initiative further to reach the unreached. Join us in the effort to expand this fund with an additional $1 million dollars in 2024.

Jim and Kristi Byh
The late Jim Byh pioneered the Lumière Project, a church-planting initiative in Africa. He dedicated his life to serving others and sharing the Good News. His wife, Kristi, championed missions activity and continues today to advocate for God’s Word to be shared with the unreached. We invite you to honor the legacy and service of Jim and Kristi by participating in this fund opportunity.

What your gift will support:

Collaborative church-planting movements, including the Lumière Project
Adaptations and translation of programs into new languages and formats for new cultures
Scripture Engagement programs for children and youth, including,
- - God’s Big Story—wordless picture cards that share the Gospel message paired with oral stories
  - The GodMan film—shares the life of Jesus
  - Children’s Animated Edition Book of Hope—a printed resource that shares the scope of the Gospel
