Willie George has almost fifty years of ministry experience in a variety of posts. He began as a youth and children’s pastor, then became a nationally-known TV personality with a traveling ministry, and founded one of America’s most influential churches, Church on the Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After 30 years in pastoral ministry, he transitioned the church to his son Whitney and once again turned his attention to young pastors and leaders.
Willie is known for his knowledge of God’s Word and practical insights into ministry operations. One of the highlights of a Rocker W retreat is the small group setting where Pastor George addresses the pressing issues young ministers face in their families, finances, and teams. He considers his position as lodge host as one of the most important elements of his assignment.
