Even as we accelerate our digital ministry programs, our printed Scripture engagement materials serve children in many different nations. Our print programs are available in a variety of specially-targeted editions for various languages, age groups, cultures, and circumstances to reach children. They all have one important aspect in common – the hope found in the story of Jesus!
Book of Hope
We have developed the Book of Hope in more than 144 languages, with a variety of specially-targeted editions for different age groups, cultures, and circumstances. The Book of Hope is a Scripture book designed to engage and speak to the heartfelt needs of children and youth within various cultures, clearly showing God’s redemptive plan through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. The Gospel is broken down into pieces and messages children and youth can understand.
Lead Today
We partnered with leadership expert John C. Maxwell and his organization, EQUIP, to create Lead Today. This program shares leadership skills through biblical lessons, all pointing the young people to model their lives after Jesus Christ.
Unstoppable
In partnership with Joyce Meyer Ministries, this special edition Book of Hope leverages Joyce Meyer’s content and testimony for young girls, ages 10-14 years old. After completing this program, adolescent girls will grow in their trust of God’s Word and gain the confidence to speak His promises over their lives. They will gain renewed hope for the future as they come to understand their identity and value as daughters of God, the love Jesus has for them, and their place in His family.
World Without Sickness
World Without Sickness shares the message of salvation through God’s Word while teaching children practical health and hygiene skills. This program provides many open doors that would otherwise be nonexistent due to evangelism restrictions in many countries throughout Asia. It has reached 6,486,700 children and has been used in 15 countries. Ministry partners are given access to share the Gospel in schools when they are also providing much needed hygiene education.
Christmas in Asia
Through community outreaches, children in Asia learn the story of Jesus during Christmas — the true reason to celebrate the season! Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism dominate many regions of Asia. Christmas provides an opportunity to tell children about Jesus, and the gift He is to the world. This program has reached over 55 million children in 30 countries. Churches facilitate Christmas parties where children play games, sing songs, hear the Gospel, and take home a scripture-filled Book of Hope.
God’s Big Story
God’s Big Story helps primary-age children learn Bible stories and uncover the underlying message of redemption and restoration, even if they can’t read or write. This fun program consists of a series of illustrated cards, along with a parent’s/teacher’s guide stocked with activities, lessons and memory verses. God’s Big Story has been used in 97 countries, and has seen great success in reaching 36,263,497 children while attracting them to return to church programming week after week as they complete their series of cards and learn the meta-narrative of Scripture in the process.
Superbook
We partnered with The Christian Broadcasting Network to develop the Superbook program – using characters from a popular television series to teach children Biblical character traits and invite them to begin a life with Jesus.
Called to Thrive
Called to Thrive is an entrepreneurial program designed to empower young people to make a positive impact in their communities by recognizing and activating the unique giftings God has placed in them as His image-bearers. After working through a 14 lesson curriculum in which they discover the Scriptural importance of work, calling, and stewardship, students between the ages of 16-21 are sent into their communities to complete a service project of their choosing. The program also includes many practical skill-building activities such as resume writing, career planning, communication strategies, and resource management. Pilot tests, which included over 200 young people throughout Africa, concluded that over 87% of Called to Thrive participants understand God’s call to work is a call to thrive as they follow Him.
Stories of Hope
The Stories of Hope Student Book edition of the Book of Hope includes Scripture, activities and discussion questions to help children learn 75 Bible stories starting with creation (Genesis) and ending with the new heaven and the new earth (Revelation). It addresses five key issues: value of life, purity, corruption, the one true God, and absolute truth.
Light in the Dark
Despite Africa’s status of boasting the youngest population in the world, its children are confronted with incredible challenges on a daily basis. According to research, 6-12 year olds commonly struggle with poverty, traditional religious practices, gambling, abuse, early sexual activity, and trauma. This is a dark reality, but with the help of Light in the Dark, children can find their world made brighter through the love of Jesus. The narrative of this Book of Hope was crafted in such a way that puts Jesus’s story in easily relatable terms. Despite their fears, readers will discover hope in the knowledge of God’s ultimate victory over every kind of darkness.
The Football Book
A modification of the 2018 Football Book of Hope, The True Champion capitalizes on the universally shared life lessons found in the game of football (or American soccer). Focusing on the traits of the True Champion, Jesus, this Book of Hope invites football players between 12 and 19 years old to discover the role they have to play both on and off the field. The Gospel presentation is also supported by quotes from Christian international professional football players, encouraging comeback stories, and interactive elements. In an early test in the field, readers described this evangelism tool as “a story we want our family to own”.
A Better Way to Life
As they look toward taking their first steps into adulthood, teenagers in Africa are overflowing with deep, formative questions. This curiosity has created fertile ground for the Gospel message to take root. Supported by regional focus group research, the A Better Way To Life Book of Hope leads students in recognizing their value as individuals made in the image of God. As they explore this divine purpose, teens also begin to identify God as the source of all truth. This offers participants a biblical perspective as they wrestle with key issues such as gender identity, anxiety, addiction, success, and more.
Hope for Tomorrow
Pioneering the path for future “model discipleship” programs, this Book of Hope (and accompanying Leader’s Guide) will provide Scriptural truth as an answer to the most critical questions teens are asking today. Students who engage with this program will be welcomed to explore topics such as gender identity, mental health, social media, and relationships all through the lens of the Gospel and how it can reshape their future. Facilitators will be provided with conversation guides, group activities, and other resources, enabling them to guide teens through the journey of their newfound faith. The Book of Hope will be designed as a diglot (two languages in one book) in an effort to maximize potential reach.
We believe innovation is essential to effectively reach the children and youth of the world. In our connected world, we frequently use digital Scripture engagement programs to help young people experience God’s Story.

What If It’s True?
Many partners cannot evangelize to young people in limited access nations because of cultural restrictions. Youth may be curious about Christian beliefs, but outside of digital spaces, it would be very difficult for them to find a safe space to explore answers to those questions. What if it’s True? begins with an intriguing social media ad. When a participant chooses to engage with the content, it leads to a seven-day introductory journey through Scripture. What if it’s True? has reached over 48 million young people in over 201 countries. Throughout the engagement process, users have an opportunity to go deeper and ultimately connect with a local discipleship cohort or social media community manager who is equipped to answer questions and guide users on their personal journeys towards faith.
OneHope Films Share God’s Word Powerfully
The GodMan
For children who cannot read and in areas where the printed Word cannot go, The GodMan film tells the story of Christ’s life for all to understand. The GodMan is a computer-animated film that has been translated into many languages and shown worldwide. Additionally, it has been customized for ten different cultural worldviews. More than 160 million children and youth have seen the film in hosted settings, and millions more have had the opportunity to watch The GodMan on television in their country. Click here to watch a clip of The GodMan.
OneHope Youth Films in partnership with the LUMO Project
OneHope Youth Films bring the Gospel story to life on screen to appeal to younger generations who have grown up in the digital age. The films are part of OneHope programs that take place during outreaches, small groups, and in homes. Through visual storytelling, young people have the opportunity to engage with truths from the Bible in a visual, dynamic format. Watch a clip here!
Rose Film
Rose is an exciting, new short film for pre-teens and youth in Latin America. The content found in the film allows them to interact with the Word of God and addresses the issue of anxiety and depression through a character named Rose. According to the Global Youth Culture report, 55% of Latin America teens stated that they experienced high anxiety within the last three months and 39% stated that they experienced depression within the past three months. The goal of this program is to see teens leave anxiety and depression behind, as they identify with Rose, who faces circumstances and goes to the limit to decide to reaffirm her relationship with God.
OneHope partners with local churches and other ministries to share God’s Word with children. Yet, communities around the world lack a Christian church. Together, we need to advance church planting initiatives so every child can experience the hope of the Gospel.
How We’re Moving Forward
Lumiere Project
The Lumière Project is a church planting initiative in Africa. Our team travels to villages where no Christian church is established. Using OneHope resources to share the Gospel message, the responding youth and adults become the first attendees of a new church plant! Children are also welcomed to join a kids Bible club. You can be a part of sharing God’s Word in these communities!
Hosanna Plan
The Hosanna Plan is delivering God’s Word to unreached children and youth through strategic local church planting and evangelism initiatives. Outreach team members dedicate one year of their life to traveling to remote communities across the country. Children and youth learn the Gospel message through multiple OneHope programs that share God’s Word.
We’re passionate about empowering the local church to do the work of the Church — reaching the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. It’s our desire to share our knowledge with churches and other like-minded organizations to help increase Kingdom impact. Feed
We want to see the teens in youth groups engage with Scripture in a meaningful way, and equip leaders with resources to effectively reach them. Feed includes resources, designed by and for the local church, to help teens grow in a relationship with Christ. Feed creates space for honest conversations around difficult truths in the Bible.
